These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Money Calendar applications for macOS and Windows and the money-calendar.com website (together, the “Service”), provided by Abintrix (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Money Calendar in accordance with these Terms.

1.1 Free Edition

The free edition may be used without payment. Its limits are described on the pricing section of the website and inside the application itself, and they may change in future versions.

1.2 Pro Edition

  • Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
  • On macOS, Pro is purchased through the Mac App Store and is tied to your Apple Account under Apple's own terms.
  • On Windows, Pro is purchased through PayPro Global and is delivered as a license key.
  • A license is intended for one user. It is non-transferable.
  • The macOS and Windows editions are sold separately; a license for one platform does not activate the other.

1.3 Upgrades

Where a paid upgrade to a newer major version is offered, purchasing it issues you a new license key, and the previous key stops working. You will need to enter the new key in the application to activate it again.

2. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by third-party providers:

  • Apple App Store, for macOS purchases
  • PayPro Global, for Windows purchases

We do not process payments directly and do not store payment details. Refunds, billing disputes, and payment issues are handled according to the rules of the provider through which the purchase was made. We do not override those decisions.

3. Your Data and Content

  • Your accounts, transactions, categories, and any other content you create remain yours.
  • That content is stored locally on your device, in your own database file. We do not claim ownership of it and do not store it on our servers.
  • Keeping backups of your database is your responsibility. The application writes automatic local backups, but a local backup does not survive a lost, stolen, or failed device.

4. Not Financial Advice

Money Calendar is a tool for recording and visualising your own figures. Its forecasts, reports, and balance projections are calculations based on the data you enter, and they are provided for information only.

The Service does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and must not be relied upon as such. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and for verifying any figure before acting on it.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the software except as permitted by law.
  • Modify, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with licensing, activation, or security mechanisms.
  • Use the Service in any unlawful manner.

6. No Account Requirement

Money Calendar does not require account registration. Access to Pro features is granted by a license key or by your Apple purchase, depending on the platform.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service working and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or operating system version, or the permanent availability of any particular feature. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for your particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abintrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, including your financial records
  • Loss of profits
  • Decisions made on the basis of figures shown by the application
  • Business interruption
  • Device or software issues arising from use of the Service

10. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws as determined by the relevant jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
